Stephen Scherer was born and raised in Hammond, LA, where he currently resides with his wife, daughter, and son. Stephen earned his Civil Law degree and Environmental Law Certificate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. During his undergraduate studies, Stephen was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and appeared on the Dean’s List. 

Prior to joining Fleur De Lis Law & Title in 2015, Stephen worked in the oil and gas land title industry, in addition to handling class action, personal injury, and environmental lawsuits. Since joining Fleur De Lis Law & Title, his practice has focused primarily on real estate law, business transactions, successions, and wills. Stephen has been a part of over 15,000 residential and commercial real estate transactions and enjoys resolving unique title problems for clients in an efficient and affordable manner. In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time at the family camp on the Tickfaw River, snow skiing, riding dirt bikes, and making his kids laugh.
